The "Mexican rap" trend, and who is really in it
The video shared in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf as the "Mexican rap trend" (ترند الراب المكسيكي) is the Bulin 47 freestyle. Nobody in it is Mexican: the singer is Dominican artist Bulin 47, the man with the speaker is Colombian creator Kevin Wai, and it was filmed in Madrid on 2 October 2026. You can make your own version from one photo in the booth.

Why "Mexican"?
No post we read explains it. Our best guess: the rap is in Spanish, and Arabic posts often file Spanish-language rap under Mexico. You will also see it called the shoulder dance (رقصة الكتف) or the Spanish rap trend.
